Putorana HIT with Helicopter

First trek to the viewing platform, which offers a panoramic view of Lake Lama and the surrounding mountains. During this excursion, participants will become familiar with the Putorana Plateau landscape, learn what "kurumnik" (stone run) is, test their equipment, and assess their physical fitness. On the way back, we'll stop at the Neralah River waterfall.

Based on this first excursion, two groups will be formed: "Sport" and "Relax." The "Sport" group consists of physically prepared tourists who are ready to hike extensively and conquer peaks; the "Relax" group includes those who prefer a leisurely pace with frequent stops for photography, berry picking, and enjoying the moment.

We travel by open boats to the isthmus of the Kamenny Peninsula. Perhaps the most beautiful viewing platform on all of Lake Lama is located right here.

The "Relax" group follows the trail to Festival Mountain at a comfortable pace, with opportunities to stop at any time to enjoy the views, have a snack, or simply chat with other participants.

The "Sport" group climbs to the upper viewing platform near the rock formation of Festival Mountain. Importantly, panoramic views of two lakes—Lama and Kapchuk—open up from all viewing platforms.

Lunch box provided.

The "Relax" group will have additional time for a walk along the isthmus between Lakes Kapchuk and Lama, where a great variety of mosses grow, some of which are not found anywhere else on the planet.

Return to the glamping site, free time.

Today is our rest day from trekking. In the morning, we'll take a boat trip on open boats toward the eastern end of Lake Lama. Toward the east, the lake narrows, and in some areas, the cliffs plunge directly into the water, resembling Norwegian fjords. The mountains appear higher and more massive. With favorable weather, you can see the perfect mirror reflection of the plateau in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Lama. Along the way, you'll learn about the expedition of the famous geologist Urvantsev, who spent 3 weeks on the lake searching for rich mineral deposits.

We'll return to the Neralah Park Hotel for lunch.

After lunch, those who wish can take a sea kayak journey to the neighboring tributary, paddle SUP boards near the base, visit the sauna, collect mushrooms/berries, observe fish, or simply relax while enjoying the beauty of the location.

For the "Sport" group, today will be the most challenging day of the journey—summit ascent. An elevation gain of 1100 m through pristine landscape without any trails. Today the group will conquer the plateau and feel like true explorers!

The "Relax" group also embarks on their main trek this day—it will take them to waterfalls, where you'll first see the Neralah canyon and waterfall from above, then approach the magnificent gorge of the 22-meter waterfall from below.

Conquering the plateau will be rewarded with a mesmerizing panorama of the Lama fjord and the endless expanse of table mountains. Here we'll take a group photo and have a small picnic.

We'll take an excursion to the Kamenny Peninsula to visit a historic site—the first House on Lama. Who built this wooden palace in the shape of an airplane in the wilderness of the Putorana Plateau and why? Why is the neighboring stream called Vitaminka? What were Latvian generals doing here? You'll learn the answers to these and other questions during the excursion.

Return to the park hotel, lunch.

After lunch, transfer by ship to Norilsk.

Transfer to the helicopter pad.

Flight registration, helicopter boarding, departure to the Putorana Plateau.

Landing at Irkindinskiy Waterfall (27 m high), one of the most impressive waterfalls on the Putorana Plateau.

Thanks to the large volume of water in the Irkinda River, the waterfall never dries up to a small trickle and always makes a strong impression.

Irkindinskiy Waterfall is located on the border of the Putoransky Nature Reserve and in close proximity to Mount Chaya-Kit—habitat of the Putorana snow sheep and white-tailed eagle, endemic species of the reserve. So if you're lucky, you might see these rare species with your own eyes (binoculars or a spotting scope would be very helpful).

Return to Valyok port, transfer to Norilsk.

2-hour sightseeing tour of Norilsk (by bus and on foot) with visits to the old town and the "Golgotha" memorial complex. Norilsk is the world's first city with multi-story buildings on permafrost. You'll learn how Bure, Smoktunovskiy, Gumilev, Zhzhyonov, and many other talented people ended up here.

Why do building arches have railings, why are the city's large square courtyards completely covered with asphalt, what is a "warm corridor" and much more—a local guide will show you non-touristy places in the city and tell you about the daily life of Norilsk residents.

Free time in the city, independent dinner at one of Norilsk's restaurants (not included).

Departure to Dudinka. The city was founded in 1667 and still remains the capital of Taymyr. The city's history is inseparably linked with all northern expeditions, the Northern Sea Route, and it serves as a center for all indigenous small-numbered peoples of Taymyr who lead a nomadic lifestyle.

Arrival in Dudinka, city tour: main square, seaport, Bering Bridge, the street without a single house. Excursion to the local history museum (polar expeditions, Zhenya the mammoth, the last shaman in Taymyr).

Lunch at a café (not included).

We'll visit the indigenous small-numbered peoples of Taymyr, interact with people who have lived their entire lives in the tundra: amusing and dramatic stories from the lives of reindeer herders, everyday life, traditions, and crafts.

Visit to a souvenir shop featuring works by local artisans.

Dinner at one of Norilsk's restaurants (not included).

Transfer to the airport (self-service breakfast at the airport), departure on morning flights. Arrival at the airport at 7:00.
